Pre & Post Surgery Therapy


treatment 1Due to each individual circumstance injuries arise and when they do, Physical Therapy is necessary.  Whether it is immediately following the injury or immediately following surgery Physical therapy is often recommended to facilitate the body’s healing, and to regain mobility and function. General surgery  or Orthopedic surgeries such as arthroscopic or tendon repair, joint replacement, spinal surgery, and fracture repair may leave an individual weak and unable to handle daily activities. Physical therapists utilize a variety of physical agents such as moist heat, cryotherapy, compression, ultrasound and electrical stimulation to accelerate and enhance the healing process and help manage pain that can sometimes interfere with progress.  We also use manual techniques in combination with therapeutic exercises biofeedback mobility and transfer training to help restore function.
